The Fraser River
The Fraser River is clear and fishing well for Coho, Chum and Sturgeon! Coho and Chum fishing will remain good through November as long as the Fraser remains clear! Fly fishing, drifting jigs under a float and casting spoons are all producing good results. If you want to relax just try plunking small spin glows with some bait and enjoy the scenery, you may find some nice fish this way as well.
Sturgeon fishing remains very good throughout the river. One group of 6 including John Wilson from the UK landed 83 sturgeon with the largest fish of the week measuring 8 foot 6 inches! John’s largest fish this week was 8 foot 3! We will have to see how his second week works out but it will be hard to beat week1 for sure.
